Oct. 13

ASSIST AGENCY: A deputy assisted Troy Pd by deploying stop sticks on a fleeing vehicle. Rana Brock was fleeing in the listed vehicle for a warrant. The pursuit speed was 50 mph in the 45 zone of CR 25A. The deputy was on Monroe Concord Rd approaching CR25A when he heard Troy units asking for

someone to set up for stop sticks. The deputy set up to deploy stop sticks in front of 3230 CR 25A. The vehicle struck the sticks with all 4 tires. The suspect was apprehended at Circle K by Troy PD units

Oct. 16

CRIMINAL DAMAGING: A deputy responded to the Fletcher Methodist Church in reference to a criminal damaging

complaint. Upon arrival, the deputy made contact with the reporting party who requested that the incident be documented for insurance purposes.

DRUG OFFENSE: A deputy initiated a traffic stop on the listed vehicle for a moving violation. After further investigation the driver was arrested for suspicion of operating a vehicle while under the influence of alcohol or drugs (4511.19A1a). The deputy located an open bottle of Dos Equis inside the vehicle in plain view. Drug paraphernalia was located inside the

vehicle along with a crystal like substance. All contraband was seized and booked into evidence. The Crystal like substance will be sent to the Miami Valley Regional Crime Lab for further testing. No charges were filed at this time.

Oct. 17

DRUG OFFENSE: A deputy was dispatched to Upper Valley Medical Center, in reference to a possible drug offense. The Security Officer on duty advised that an adult female had been brought in for a possible overdose. Medical Staff cut off the female’s sweatshirt and in the process had cut through a clear plastic bag containing a white powdery substance that was located in her front pocket. The white powdery substance was recovered and placed into evidence to be sent to the Miami Valley Regional Crime Lab for further testing. No charges were filed at this time.

Oct. 18

SCAM: A resident of Newberry Twp. reported he and his wife were scammed into providing his personal information to an unknown suspect claiming to be an account representative from Direct TV.

THEFT: A deputy responded to a theft complaint at 6254 US Route 40 Lot #44 in Bethel Township. The complainant advised two pop-up campers, one belonging to him, the other his live in partner, were stolen from the area where they were kept at in Sunshine Mobile Home Park. This case is pending further investigation.

BUS ISSUE: A deputy was dispatched in reference to a vehicle running Troy school bus red lights. The driver

was identified and cited accordingly.

OVI: A deputy was traveling southbound on N. Co. Rd. 25A in the area of Interstate 75. I observed a white Chevy Avalanche traveling northbound in the south bound lane. The vehicle was eventually stopped and the driver, later identified as James Reineke, was arrested for operating a vehicle impaired, failure to comply with a law enforcement officer, failure to control, and lanes of travel.

Oct. 19

JUNK VEHICLE: A deputy responded to 3914 W. State Route 41 reference a junk vehicle complaint. Upon arrival, the deputy made contact with the owner of the residence. The listed vehicles were in violation of Concord’s Junk Vehicle Ordinance. The owner was given a 48 hour notice to remove the vehicles from the property or be cited accordingly. This case is pending.

MENACING: A deputy was dispatched to the 1800 block of Beechwood Drive, Concord Twp. in reference to a menacing complaint.

Oct. 20

OVI: A deputy responded to the listed address on a report of an accident with no injuries. After investigation the registered owner Jared Clark was arrested for OVI, Failure to Control, and Stop Sign. The passenger Robert Dancer was cited for Open Container.
