TROY — More than 25 vehicles were broken into over the weekend in the Westbrook neighborhood.
The break-ins happened late Saturday night, according to reports.
The Troy Police Department is seeking information on two black male suspects who used stolen credit cards to make purchases at Walmart near the Dayton Mall. The credit cards were stolen from a vehicle in the 1600 block of Cornish Road. A stolen credit card was also used from a victim in the 1300 block of Surrey Road. A 2013 Kia Sorento with license plate AH96ZW was also reportedly stolen from the 700 block of Lymington Road during the incidents. The suspects threw out the owner’s car seat and other items from the car. The owner said he accidentally left the keys in the vehicle overnight.
Another theft report stated $17 cash and a prescription for Vicodin was stolen from a vehicle in the 1300 block of Surrey Road.
