MIAMI COUNTY —The second man wanted for a rash of thefts last fall was arrested over the weekend and appeared in court on Monday.
Johnahan N. Nohacs, 21, of Vandalia, was arraigned Monday by an indictment for a variety of breaking and entering and theft charges in Miami County Common Pleas Court.
Nohacs pleaded not guilty to two counts of fourth degree felony theft, two counts of fifth degree felony breaking and entering charges and one count of fifth degree felony theft charges.
The charges stem from Nohacs’ alleged role in a multiple property crimes on Kessler-Frederick Road last October. The Miami County Sheriff’s Office released photos, which were captured by trail cameras, of Nohacs, along with co-defendant Kyle Plantz, on the property during the timeframe the alleged crimes took place.
Nohacs was released on his own recognizance. His pre-trial conference is set for Jan. 4 with Judge Christopher Gee presiding.
