GREENVILLE (AP) — A sheriff’s office has identified a teenage sister and brother killed in a crash when their car collided with a semitrailer in western Ohio.
A Darke County sheriff’s office statement says 17-year-old Hudson Nestor and his 13-year-old sister, Katlynn Nestor, died at the scene of the crash Monday night in Franklin Township. The teens from Bradford were both students at Franklin-Monroe school.
Authorities say the driver of the semitrailer wasn’t injured in the crash that occurred around 7:30 p.m. near Greenville.
The statement says the preliminary investigation shows the semitrailer was turning onto another road when the car driven by Hudson Nestor drove under the trailer and off the road, striking a tree.
Deputies were continuing to investigate. They say no charges or citations had been issued.
