May 11

SUSPICIOUS: Two individuals were found to be parked at a bend in the roadway on W. Demming Rd. close to N. State Rt. 66. They were mushroom hunting on private property and had permission from the property owner to be on the property. Their vehicle was parked in front of a no parking sign. The individuals were in the process of leaving, and advised mushroom season is over and they would not be back this year. They were warned for the parking issue.

THEFT: A deputy responded to the 9700 block of Wildcat Road, Bethel Twp. in reference to a theft complaint. After investigation, it was found that a 20-foot trailer with two lawn mowers and a backpack sprayer were stolen.

SHOTS FIRED: A deputy responded to the N. Hardin and West Miami Shelby Road, Washington Twp. on a report of shots fired. Upon arrival contact was made with members of a tree trimming company working for DP&L. One of the employees advised a resident was upset they were on his property cutting limbs away from the power lines, retrieved a pistol from the residence and fired a round into the air. Witness statements were collected and contact will be made with the prosecutor at a later date in regard to possible charges.

May 12

JAIL ISSUE: A deputy was dispatched to the downtown jail for a disturbance/fight. After further investigation multiple road deputies assisted the Incarceration Facility with a cell lock down

DRUG ISSUE: A deputy responded to the 8000 block of Horseshoe Bend Road, Newton Twp. for a drug complaint. Someone put a small bag of marijuana in the mailbox for a juvenile at the residence. It was booked to be destroyed by the deputy.

OVERDOSE: A deputy responded to the 2400 block of South County Road 25-A, Concord Twp. for an overdose.

CRIMINAL DAMAGE: Linda Ross, 53, of Fairborn, was cited for criminal damaging in the 6200 block of U.S. Route 40, Bethel Twp. She also was cited for criminal trespass in a separate incident.

May 13

ASSAULT: Beau Lavey, 37, of Fletcher was cited for assault.

BAD CHECK: A bad check complaint was reported in the 2000 block of Rugged Hill Road, Lostcreek Twp.

TIRES DUMPED: A report of several semi wheels and tires dumped in the 10000 block of N. Hardin Road, Washington Twp. was filed.

YARD DAMAGED: A vehicle drove through a resident’s yard in the 3000 block of West State Route 571, Monroe Twp.

May 14

CRIMINAL DAMAGE: A deputy responded to the 3000 block of West State Route 571 on a criminal damaging complaint.

CRIMINAL DAMAGE: A deputy responded to the 6900 block of Troy Frederick Road, Monroe Township for a criminal damage incident.

THEFT: A resident in the 2700 block of McKaig Road, Concord Twp. on a burglary report. The reporting party stated $10,000 was stolen from her home.

ROAD RAGE: Deputies responded to the Dorset Shell station on a road rage incident between juveniles.

COUNTERFEIT: Desmond Wilson II, 22, of Philadelphia, Penn., was charged with one count of fourth degree counterfeiting, one count of fourth degree telecommunication fraud and one count of fifth degree felony telecommunications fraud from an incident filed in June 2018.

May 15

ASSAULT: Kamren Savage, 19, of Troy, was charged with assault.

SEX OFFENSE: Cedric Britt, 39, at-large, was charged with third degree felony gross sexual imposition from an incident filed on April 14.
