Valentines dinner, show offered

TROY — The Troy-Hayner Cultural Center has announced the 2016 Valentine Dinner and a Show at Hayner featuring “Comedy in Motion” with Bob Cates on Friday, Feb. 12 and Saturday Feb. 13. Seating begins at 6 p.m.

You and your favorite someone can share the experience of an elegant dinner at the Hayner mansion. After a formal toast-to-love, participants will move to the ballroom for the antics of Cates.

Cates is a Canadian juggling champion and physical variety artist who has been delighting audiences for 20 years. He will keep you laughing with comedy routines involving advanced juggling, wild unicycling and balancing skills, and a crazy real plate spinning finale.

Chef Michael Jannides of Sidney has prepared a menu that includes your choice of filet of beef tenderloin, chicken Florentine or a grilled stuffed portabella mushroom. The reservations include dinner choice with three sides, bread, cheesecake, wine, coffee or iced tea and the stage show in the ballroom.

The cost for the event is $35 per person and reservations can be mailed with a check or made online with a credit card at .
