MIAMI COUNTY — Rangeline Road will be closed 7 a.m. Monday, Aug. 12, through Sept. 10 for bridge maintenance. The location of the work is between Covington-Gettysburg Road and Lost Greenville Falls Road.
Kessler-Cowlesville Road will be closed 7 a.m. Monday, Aug. 12, through Wednesday, Aug. 14, for culvert replacements. The location of the work is between Iddings Road and Kessler- Frederick Road.
City office to close
PIQUA — City offices will be closed on Friday, Aug. 16, from 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. so that employees can attend the Employee Appreciation Picnic.

YWCA Connections to be held
PIQUA — YWCA Connections will be hosting speaker Jody McGrath from the Look of You on Aug. 20 from 11:45 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the YWCA in Piqua, located 418 N. Wayne St. McGrath will be discussing dressing for your career, your image, and your body shape.

Church fair to be held
PIQUA — The Piqua Association of Churches (PAC) will be holding their annual Church Fair on Aug. 23-24 at the Miami Valley Centre Mall. The Church Fair will run the same hours as the mall is open.
Churches from Piqua and the surrounding areas will have booths set up in the mall to talk to attendees about their churches and engage with the local community. The putt-putt golf and craft will be in use again this year.
Edison Stagelight Players to hold open auditions
PIQUA — The Edison Stagelight Players are holding open auditions for William Shakespeare’s The Comedy of Errors, on Monday, Aug. 26, and Tuesday, Aug. 27, at 7 p.m. in East Hall room 427 on the Piqua campus. Auditions will last approximately two hours and consist of cold readings from the script as well as possible improvisation.
The Comedy of Errors tells the tale of two sets of twins who were accidentally separated at birth using a combination of slapstick humor and wordplay. The story sets the scene for a series of bizarre events brought on by a case of mistaken identities.
Production dates will run from Oct. 25 to Nov. 3, 2019. To be considered for a role, those auditioning must be able to attend all production dates, including five weekend performances and two daytime performances. Rehearsals will begin on Monday, Sept. 16, and will be held Monday through Thursday from 7 to 9 p.m., depending on the size of the role. Auditions are open to actors of all ages, and it is not required to be a student of Edison State.
