Information provided by the Troy Police Department:

Jan. 15

NO LICENSE: After a brief investigation, an officer charged Gustavo Alonso Nieves for no operator’s license. Another officer verified that Nieves did not carry insurance on the vehicle.

Jan. 16

WARRANT: An officer initiated a traffic stop on the vehicle and advised the driver, Elizabeth Feeser of the no headlights violation. The officer found that Elizabeth’s license was also expired as of August 2013. Elizabeth’s driving record showed that she had a warrant block on her and a warrant for her arrest out of Athens County. She was cited for the violations.

OVI: An officer arrested Caleb Bridges for OVI and other charges.

Jan. 17

POSSESSION: On the listed date time and location the suspect vehicle was stopped for a traffic violation. The driver was arrested for OVI and Possession of Marijuana.

Jan. 18

TAB: An officer responded to Submarine House and spoke with the manager who advised a subject did not pay for his tab Saturday morning, taking $83 worth of alcoholic drinks. Subject was identified and charged with misuse of a credit card.

COPPER STOLEN: A deputy was patrolling the area of the old Kmart building when they noticed the back door was propped open with a rock. The deputy searched the building for any subjects inside. The deputy noticed the copper pipe had been taken out. They also noticed all the insulation was laying on the ground in all the areas where the pipes should be. The owner advised there was about $15,000 to $20,000 worth of copper pipe taken.

Jan. 21

WARRANT: An officer initiated a traffic stop on a vehicle for multiple traffic violations. The passenger was found to have a valid warrant out of Auglaize County. The driver was issued verbal warning for violations and passenger was incarcerated at Miami County Jail.

Jan. 20

DISTURBANCE: Eric Clay Jr. was charged with criminal trespass and criminal mischief following a disturbance call from the Comfort Inn and Suites. The call was made in reference to an intoxicated male who refused to leave the hotel.

Jan. 19

THEFT: A deputy was dispatched to McDonalds in reference to a theft from a motor vehicle. This case is being investigated.

Jan. 18

DRUG ABUSE: Patrol officers were dispatched to 30 Troy Towne Drive, Room 105, on a disturbance. Dejuan Scott, 28, of Troy, was arrest for assault, menacing, drug paraphernalia and drug abuse.

ARREST: Officers responded to Monro Muffler Brake on a complaint of someone breaking into the business over the weekend, stealing money and ransacking the office. The scene was processed for evidence, the Dustin Slack, 26, of Troy, was identified and arrested for breaking and entering.
