Murder in the Museum

PIQUA — Join participants for a real “Who Done It” featuring a three-course dinner with a twist at 6 p.m. July 25 at the Johnston Farm & Indian Agency.

Become part of the fun to solve the Murder in the Museum as you assume the roles of observers, suspects, detectives, or maybe even the corpse. The evening begins with hors d’oeuvre and a murder, dinner and clues, concluding with dessert and a resolution.

The fee is $35 for adults and $30 for Johnston Farm Friends and Ohio History Connection members.

The event is semi-formal attire with a black tie option.

Camp taking registrations

TROY — Generations of Life, a service of Hospice of Miami County, is currently accepting applications for Camp Courageous, a week-long day camp for children entering grades kindergarten through 12th who are experiencing grief from the loss of a loved one.

At Camp Courageous, children experience traditional camp activities such as arts and crafts, fun and games and recreation along with bereavement education and activities geared to help them process their grief.

In addition to trained bereavement counselors, children will be assigned a Camp Companion who will be at their side throughout the week. Snacks and lunches provided each day, and there is always trained medical staff on duty.

Camp Courageous will be held Aug. 3-7 from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. each day at Ludlow Falls Camp, 2535 S. State Route 48, Ludlow Falls.

Camp Courageous is offered as at no charge to families of participants due to grants, fundraising, private donations and United Way support.

Deadline for registration is July 20.
