Olive Wagar, owner of Organized by Olive LLC and member of the National Association of Professional Organizers (NAPO), will share practical, yet aggressive, strategies to say goodbye to the clutter that overwhelms our homes. She will motivate you to let go of clutter. She will demonstrate clever ways to reuse your reclaimed space so that you can organize and beautify your home with your special treasures.
TMCS trustees needed
TIPP CITY — The Tipp Monroe Community Services’ Board of Trustees is looking to fill three board seats. The intent of this letter is to encourage anyone who lives in Tipp City and Monroe Township, who might be interest in becoming a trustee to contact the TMCS Executive Director, Kathryn L. Taylor at the Community Services office 667-8631. She will be happy to answer any questions concerning the roles of individual trustees and the entire board. Dead-line to submit applications is Monday, July 13, 2015.
A continuing goal of the TMCS Board, Advisory Members and staff is to meet the needs of the community in recreation, community education, cultural and social services. Input from the community assists Community Services in achieving this goal. By sitting on the TMCS Board of Trustees, residents can take part in fulfilling immediate needs, while planning the future of Tipp Monroe Community Services.

TROY — The Miami County Board of Elections will meet on Monday, June 8, 2015 at 3 p.m. in the Board of Elections meeting room, adjacent to the Board of Elections office, old Courthouse, 215 West Main Street, in Troy.

Art gallery to offer classes
TIPP CITY — Studio 14 Gallery & Fine Arts Center is kicking off the summer with classes and events for all ages and levels of experience. They are offering drawing, painting, photography, jewelry making and even a writers group for teens. They will be participating in the Tipp City Marketplace and First Fridays and will also be doing some exciting things at the 175th Anniversary, the Canal Music Festival, the Miyelo Music Festival, the Mum Festival and lots more. Visit their tent at these community events to “Make and Take a Masterpiece” on the spot, where you can chose a simple but unique piece of art to create and take home with you.
Studio 14 Gallery & Fine Art Center is now located at 115 West Main Street in downtown Tipp City. Their newly renovated gallery space features three floors of the diverse work of many local artists and also provides classroom space for their many classes and workshops.
They have put a new spin on the wine and paint party and is now hosting Tippsy Parties, where participants can paint their masterpieces on wine glasses as well as canvas while enjoying the company of friends over wine and hors-d’oeuvres that they bring in.
