Hayner Gift Gallery upcoming

TROY — The Troy-Hayner Cultural Center will be hosting its 7th annual Hayner Gift Gallery event on Saturday, Nov. 18 from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. at center. The house will be filled with artists and vendors, each selling their own unique products.

Fine artists this year include: Frank Brower, faceted gemstones; Rick Brown, stone jewelry; Country Workshop Artists, art and pottery; Barbara Wilfong, paintings and jewelry; Deb Ahmed, paper filigree/calligraphy; Darlene Russell, handcrafted jewelry; Upper Valley Fiber Guild, knitting/weaving and fiber items; Marla Fair, artist and author; Meaghan Fisher, children’s author; Anita Heras, unique glass jewelry; David Holbrook, mixed media sculptures and pottery; Catherine Elson, quilt and fabric artist; Mary Riter, card maker; and Alice Rusk, paper treasures.

A variety of vendors also will be on hand to help visitors with their holiday shopping.

Artist to debut series

TROY — Local artist Jacqui Lowther Noll will debut her new oil painting series, Oils for Oils, Botanical Series” created this year at several events this season, including the Wellness Holiday Gala 2017 on Nov. 4 from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. at the Crystal Room, 845 W. Market St., Troy, and Brukner Nature Center’s Winter Craft Show from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 2, at 5995 Horseshoe Bend Road, Troy.
