BETHEL TOWNSHIP — Ross Road will be closed between Pisgah Road and State Route 201 through Friday for a culvert replacement by the Miami County Engineers.
The road will be closed 24 hours a day and the work is located 800 feet east of Pisgah Road.

TROY — The Miami County Master Gardener Volunteers will present “Backyard Photography” at the next session in the Coffee with the Master Gardeners series at 10 a.m. Nov. 2.
The session will be taught by Miami County Master Gardener Robert Young and will include tips and instruction on how to use your camera to best capture birds, flowers, trees, and other elements in your backyard landscape like a professional. The session will be held at the Extension Meeting Room on the ground floor of the Miami County Courthouse, 201 Main St., Troy.
The cost is $10 and pre-registration is required by Oct. 31.

Veterans Day ceremony set
TROY — The Veterans Memorial Honor Guard of Troy will present the Troy Veterans Day Ceremony at 11 a.m. Nov. 11 at Riverside Cemetery, Troy.
The event honors veterans from all the military services and the public is invited to attend this patriotic ceremony.
‘Souper Bowl’ event upcoming
TIPP CITY — Tickets are available for the Souper Bowl III, a fundraiser for the Tippecanoe Historical Society.
The event is planned for 5-7 p.m. Nov. 3 at the Zion Lutheran Church, 11 W. Walnut St., Tipp City.
For $20, the buyer will receive a soup bowl to keep, handmade by local artist Sally Watson. Also their choice of potato, vegetable beef or chicken corn soup plus cornbread, cookies and a drink.
Tickets are available at the Historical Society Museum on the southeast corner of 3rd and Walnut streets in Tipp; Tipp Monroe Community Services, 3 E. Main St.; or from a historical society member.
