Info meeting set

COVINGTON — J.R. Clarke Public Library will be holding an information meeting up for the Friends of J.R. Clarke Public Library event seeking volunteers at 1 p.m. Jan. 15.

The meeting will be will be held in the lower level Community Room. Bring your questions, recommendations, suggestions and answers.

Light refreshments will be served. For more information or to register, call 473-2226. There will also be a sign-up sheet at the library.

Appraisal fair planned

TIPP CITY — An antique appraisal fair will be offered at the Tippecanoe Historical Society on Saturday, Jan. 19. The appraisals will be held at The American Legion Post 586, 377 N. Third St., Tipp City. Doors open at 11 a.m. and appraisals begin at noon. The Legion Auxiliary will have food available for purchase.

Longtime auctioneers Scott Pence and Jerry Stichter will do the appraisals. There is a charge of $5 to have up to two items appraised and $3 for each additional item. Everyone is invited to enjoy the event, even if they don’t have anything to be appraised.

Photo contest pieces on exhibit

TROY — Brukner Nature Center invites the public to enjoy the Nature Art Gallery and to see the world through the lenses of the center’s annual photo contest participants.

The exhibit runs through March 17.

Selected entries are displayed in the Heidelberg Auditorium. These framed works of art will be available for purchase with 25 percent of the proceeds supporting Brukner Nature Center’s mission to promote the appreciation and understanding of wildlife conservation through education, preservation and rehabilitation.

Admission is $2.50 per person or free for BNC members.

Party upcoming at library

BRADFORD — An American Girl Party will be held from 10:30 .m. to noon Saturday, Jan. 19.

Sign-ups are full for this day for the young ladies and their dolls. Stop by before then to see some of the dolls and doll furniture on display. If you are signed up, be at the library before 10:30 a.m. so the event can start on time.

Bring along your favorite doll, you might even want to dress alike for your photo booth picture. Games, snacks, crafts and door prizes will be included in the day.

There will be no walk-ins the day of the event since supplies have already been purchased.
