Heidelberg announces dean’s list

TIFFIN — More than 350 Heidelberg University students who have excelled in the classroom have been named to the fall semester dean’s list, according to Provost Dr. Beth Schwartz.

Among the local/area students recognized on the dean’s list are the following:

Christine Bowling, a junior Business Administration major from Troy.

David Brauer, a junior Communication & Theatre Arts major from Pleasant Hill.

Tyler Hunter, a sophomore Health Sciences major from Tipp City.

Marisa Mowery, a junior Psychology major from Troy.

Hadlock graduates at Brenau

GAINESVILLE, Ga. — Meridith Anne Hadlock of Troy, has graduated from Brenau University with a M.S.O.T. degree during commencement ceremonies Saturday, Dec. 12. Hadlock attended the North Atlanta campus.

Visiting nurse to visit library

PLEASANT HILL — Stop in for a free blood pressure and/or glucose screening between 11 a.m. and 12:30 p.m. on the second Tuesday of the month at the Oakes-Beitman Memorial Library in Pleasant Hill.

No appointment is necessary.

The visiting nurse will be at the library on Jan. 12, Feb. 9, March 8, and April 12.

The nurse recommends fasting or waiting three hours after eating for the glucose screening.

Museum to close for reconstruction

TROY — The Miami Valley Veterans Museum have announced they will be closed from December through March for reconstruction.

The coffee and doughnut events will continue from 9-11 a.m. on the first Wesdnesday of every month.

Tipp resident receives degree

LAKE CHARLES, La. — McNeese State University awarded diplomas and certificates to 698 students at the university’s fall commencement ceremony Saturday, Dec. 12, at Burton Coliseum.

Nicole Elizabeth Hudson of Tipp City, received her bachelor’s degree in art.
