Tax preparers needed

TROY — Lincoln Community Center is seeking volunteers to help local low income families prepare their taxes.

No math is required. Center staff are seeking volunteers who are computer competent to assist community members efile federal and state taxes. Training in the computer software is provided.

Assistance will be given at Lincoln Community Center located, 110 Ash St., Troy, on Wednesdays from 6-9 p.m. and Saturday mornings from 9 a.m. to noon. The program will run from February to April.

Trees to be picked up

CONCORD TOWNSHIP — Concord Township will begin picking up Christmas trees through Jan. 19.

Trees are taken to Miami County Sanitary Engineering and are later ground into mulch, so decorations must be removed and plastic bags are not necessary.

No other brush can be taken at this time. For more information, call 339—1492.
