Antiques seminar planned
TROY — An antiques seminar, “Is it Vintage or Antique?” with David Fair of David Fair on the Square in Troy, will begin at 7:30 p.m. March 31 at the Troy-Hayner Cultural Center. The event is free.
Fair will discuss the furniture entering the antiques market today and offer creative ideas for incorporating vintage pieces into your décor.

Spring equinox presentation set
TROY — Join Brukner Nature Center at 7 p.m. March 24 for a presentation on “The Cedar Glade Prairies of Adams County, Ohio” by Paul Knoop, and Reflections of Nature, a selection of watercolors and oils by Ann Geise.
At 7 p.m., enjoy a glass of organic wine or bird-friendly decaf accompanied by light hors d’oeuvres and local sweets while you enjoy the work of Ann Geise. Working in watercolors and oils, Ann paints subjects ranging from local landscapes, birds and wildlife to scenes from her travels. At 7:15 p.m., participants will settle for a presentation by notable naturalist, Paul Knoop as he takes us on a visual journey to one of Ohio’s least known ecosystems.
Admission for this seasonal celebration is $5 for BNC members and $10 for non-members (cash or check). All proceeds from this event, including the sale of artwork throughout the exhibit, will support the care and husbandry of the wildlife ambassadors.

Kindergarten roundup March 15
WEST MILTON — Milton-Union Elementary School. 7620 Milton-Potsdam Road, will have kindergarten round-up from 7-8 p.m. March 15.
Families can meet teachers, learn about the program and participate in family activities. Information will be shared regarding the screening and beginning the registration process.
