Needler’s Fresh Market to hold ribbon cutting

TROY — Fresh Encounter Inc., management company of Needler’s Fresh Market, announced today that they will be holding ribbon cutting ceremonies at their two new Miami Valley locations in Troy and Middletown.

The events will be taking place Tuesday, Dec. 5, at the two former Marsh Supermarket locations. The Middletown festivities will begin at 11 a.m. and the Troy festivities will begin at 12:30 p.m. at 982 N. Market St.

Festivities will include product samples, giveaways and more.

“We are delighted to be hosting such a fun event for our customers around Middletown and Troy,” stated director of marketing Julie Anderson. “We are looking forward to serving these fantastic communities.”

Customers can expect to find numerous samples around the store.

The new brand, Needler’s Fresh Market, will place added concentration on sourcing local fresh produce and providing high quality in-store made products in the bakery and deli along with a premium meat selection.

The Middletown and Troy locations are just two of 14 new Needler’s Fresh Market stores being rebranded from the former Marsh stores. Other newly branded locations include New Palestine, Marion, Columbus, Hartford City, Elwood, Tipton, Pendleton, Richmond and Greensburg. One other Ohio receiving the new store banner is located in Eaton.

Fresh Encounter, Inc., is a supermarket management company founded in 1995 by Michael S. Needler and the late Susan Cheek Needler and currently manages 60 retail locations in Ohio, Indiana and Kentucky.
