TROY — Merlin Collins, manager of the Upper Valley Medical Center Outpatient Pharmacy, was recognized as the 2015 UVMC Employee of the Year at the Employee Recognition and Silver Anniversary Club Banquet Oct. 14.
Becky Rice, president and CEO, announced his selection. Merlin, known for his friendliness and willingness to go the extra mile, was selected as the August 2014 Employee of the Month. All employees of the month for the past year were recognized during the banquet. A pharmacist, Merlin has been with the outpatient pharmacy since its opening in April 2013.
“Merlin does a great job … He is always courteous, extremely helpful and works hard to make everyone’s visit to the pharmacy, for whatever reason, as seamless and as easy as possible,” the person who nominated him said.
