PIQUA — Jeffrey L. Bour has accepted a key position with the Jamieson & Yannucci Funeral Home as a licensed funeral director, embalmer and cremationist, according to Michael P. Yannucci.
Bour was raised in McCutchenville and moved to Piqua in June 2015.
“ I am excited to be working with such a respected funeral home as Jamieson & Yannucci,” he said. “It is rare to see such breadth of services offered by a quality staff from one great facility. From the unique Follow Through Services Program to the on-site crematory, monument/memorial service and Advance Planning Program to the integration of personal service to area families.
“Piqua appears to possess a lot of positives indicative of a forward thinking town and the people in the community have been so warm and welcoming to me.”
In addition to earning his bachelor of mortuary science degree from the Cincinnati College of Mortuary Science, he has earned his master’s degree. Bour served active duty in the United States Air Force.
Yannucci stated, “Jeff comes to our community with many talents and experience enabling our citizens to benefit from him on many levels.”
Bour has been publicly acknowledged for his leadership and community service as evidence by his various awards and recognitions throughout his career. He is a member of the American Legion Post No. 184 of Piqua, Piqua Kiwanis Club, Ohio Funeral Directors Association, Ohio Embalmers Association, and the Cremation Association of North America.
“I am pleased with his professional association with our home and that he chose Piqua as his new home,” Yannucci said.
