THEFT: An officer reported to the Kohl’s Department Store on a report of a theft.
CHILD ABUSE: The Troy Junior High School Resource Officer forwarded a report and initial investigation of suspected child abuse to Children Services.
OVERDOSE: A Troy Police Officer responded to the 1343 Imperial Court Apt. H of an apparent overdose. The male subject was revived with Narcan, but denied drug abuse. He was transported to Upper Valley Medical Center.
ACCIDENT: An officer responded to a reported accident located at the on ramp of Interstate 75 southbound in Troy. The driver was cited for OVI and failure to control.
WARRANT: Troy Police Department officer cited Sarah Dodson for a red light violation and marijuana possession. She was arrested on a warrant.
OVERDOSE: An officer was dispatched to 19 Elmwood Drive for an overdose. Stacy Shoop to be charged with drug abuse and drug abuse instruments.
THEFT: An officer responded to Wal-Mart on a theft in progress. The female suspect admitted to stealing items, and was given a citation for the theft violation. She was then released.
SCHOOL INCIDENT: Troy Police SRO Tilley investigated the possible hacking of the Troy High School computer system. Tilley interviewed a student who may have known the subject through an online forum who committed the hack. The hack was a multi-direction attack which shut down the school’s internet systems two times that morning.
GUN WIELDING WOMAN THWARTS BURGLARY: Troy Department officers responded to a burglary in progress in the 900 block of McKaig Avenue. The reporting party stated two males tried to push in the back door before felling eastbound on McKaig. A hammer was found at the back door. The white male subject were wearing blue jeans, hunter green hoodie and a tan Carhart coat. The black male subject was wearing all black with a black knit hat. The female at the home at the time had a gun and yelled at them before they fled.
OVERDOSE: Officer responded to the Royal Inn Room 165 in regards to an apparent drug overdose. The subject was revived with Narcan. The subject admitted to using heroin. Another subject was arrested due to an active warrant and incarcerated. The female was charged with possession drug abuse instruments and drug abuse.
WARRANT: Anson Block fled on foot from the Tavern after he was approached by officers in regards to an active warrant for his arrest. Block had a bag of marijuana, a digital scale and $225 on his person. He was charged with trafficking marijuana, possession of marijuana, possession of marijuana paraphernalia and obstructing official business.
