Jan. 20

OPEN CONTAINER: Kevin Ryan was cited open container while waiting in the parking lot for his wife to get off work at a local salon. Officers were dispatched after someone reportedly saw Ryan drinking from a 24-ounce Bud Ice in his vehicle in the Wal-mart parking lot before he was stopped by officers. He was cited and released to his wife.

DISORDERLY CONDUCT: A woman was arrested for disorderly conduct and open container at Troy High School.

Jan. 21

CAR GONE: The reporting party stated his green Honda Civic was stolen from the Shell gas station on Dorset Road. The officer located the car in the Motel 6 parking lot.

POSSESSION: Michael Wells was charged with possession of marijuana.

WARRANT: Officers arrested Jordan Brandon on a warrant.

HUFFING: A female was charged with abusing harmful intoxicants after officers and medics were dispatched to the 200 block of North Elm Street.

HOTEL BUST: Officer arrested three subjects for drug possession at the America’s Best Value Inn.

Jan. 22

OVERDOSE: Officers were dispatched to the 300 block of Mulberry Street, Troy, to a suspected overdose.

Jan. 23

BUS INCIDENT: A school bus driver reported the license plates of a vehicle that failed to stop when lights were flashing.

THEFT: Kayla Knecht was charged with theft from Dollar General on North Market Street.

Jan. 24

DRUGS: An officer investigated a suspicious vehicle with four people inside the car in a drug activity area, which was not listed by the officer. The sheriff’s office K9 indicted suspected drugs inside the car. The officer found a clear pouch with suspected methamphetamine inside. A female was charged with possession of methamphetamine and drug paraphernalia, and incarcerated. A male subject was charged with possession of drug paraphernalia and was cited.

Jan. 25

PIPE FOUND: An officer responded to a disturbance with the location unlisted. The officer asked the male subject if they could check the room and the male subject complied. The officer noticed a metal marijuana pipe in plain view. The renter of the room was cited.

Jan. 26

CRIMINAL DAMAGING: An officer took a report of criminal damaging in the 900 block of McKaig Avenue.

OVERDOSE: An officer responded to a report of an apparent heroin overdose of a female subject. The address was not provided in the report. The female subject admitted to using heroin and was given Narcan and revived. She was charged with possession of heroin.

POSSESSION: A driver was cited for possession of marijuana and driving under suspension.
