Thanks for the support for the feast

To the Editor:

We at Lincoln Community Center would like to extend our gratitude to all of those who supported or donated toward our Fifth annual Thanksgiving Eve Community Feast. Through an awesome and generous outpouring from local businesses and individuals, we were able to provide an outstanding Thanksgiving meal for a large number of persons. Each year this event has brought city officials, business volunteers, LCC Staff, and youth together all under one roof to share a meal and be to be grateful for what we have.

On behalf of the Lincoln Community Center Board of Directors and staff, I would like to thank Abbott Labs, Baird Funeral Home, Redman’s Club, Faurecia, Culver’s, West Troy Tool & Machine, Kroger, Dungan & LeFevre Co., LPA, the City of Troy, Shipman, Dixon & Livingston Co., LPA, Unity National Bank, Hobart Food Equipment Group, Educational Services Opportunity School, and numerous private Troy citizens, all of whom were pivotal in making this a successful event. If we omitted thanking anyone, we apologize for the oversight.

Again, we sincerely thank all who donated, cooked, served, contributed, provided setup/tear down, organized, and came out to enjoy fellowship. We wish you all a safe and joyful Christmas and holiday season.

And — please mark your calendar to join us on Saturday, December 10 from 4-6p.m. for the Lincoln Community Center Holiday Open House and Silent Auction. RSVP by calling our office at (937) 335-2715 or www.LCCHolidayAuction.rsvpify.com<http://www.LCCHolidayAuction.rsvpify.com>.
