Event brings smiles to senior center

To the Editor:

Feb. 2 was Groundhog Day. Maybe the groundhog saw his shadow, but it was all smiles and sunshine in the Troy Senior Citizens Center. We held our Annual Groundhog Day Celebration sponsored by Brookdale Troy Senior Living Solutions.

Adam Jacomet, sales manager, rallied his amazing team, headed up by Chef Robert and delighted us with a fabulous four-star Sunday brunch-style experience. The members were indulged with a made-to-order omelet bar with all the fixings, fresh fruit and a muffin … just another sunny day being a member of the Troy Senior Citizens Center.

If I have sparked your interest, stop in the Troy Senior Citizens Center at 134 N. Market St. or ing me up at 335-2810 for a monthly newsletter. We are a United Way partner agency.
