Safety for all a big concern

In reference to the city of Troy’s proposal for changes to the Great Miami Recreation Trail on Riverside Drive, it seems that the issue involves the elimination of two crosswalks across Riverside Drive as opposed to crossing 12 homeowners’ driveways.

Safety of the users of the recreation trail should be a big concern.

I do understand why the homeowners are concerned about the risks they would have by the recreation trail crossing their driveways.

It would seem to me that the sensible thing to do would have the city sit down with the homeowners prior to any action by the city, both with an open mind, and work out a plan that is a win-win for all concerned.
