TROY — A multiple-vehicle crash in Troy resulted in apparent minor injuries on Wednesday afternoon.
Troy police, fire, and medic units responded to the 1500 block of West Main Street around 3 p.m. on the report of a crash with on vehicle on its top.
Witnesses believe that there were three vehicles involved. One of the vehicles, driven by an elderly female overturned and landed on its top. Bystanders and and Troy medics were able to assist the woman in exiting her vehicle.
Troy medics took the woman to a waiting ambulance. Another medic unit was called to check out the drivers of two other vehicles.
In all, two patients were put on cots and put into the back of ambulances.
Troy police are investigating the crash.
West Main Street was closed while the crash was investigated and cleared with traffic being re-routed around adjacent streets.
