Man sought by police found following accident

TROY — The Troy Police Department has identified the driver who caused an accident in downtown Troy on Tuesday morning.

Worth Bussell, 58, of Huber Heights, was the driver of the red PT Cruiser, which struck a van in front of City Hall on Tuesday morning.

According to police, Huber Heights police had sent out a message earlier in the morning to be on the lookout for Bussell’s whereabouts. Bussell also is believed to have traveled off the road way into a bean field on Troy-Sidney Road prior to the accident.

Troy Police believe Bussell was intoxicated at the time of the incident. No charges have yet been filed. The accident remains under investigation.
